Meetings: We meet from 7.00pm until 9.30pm, approximately fortnightly, mostly on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Notes: Cost = £30 p.a. The Simpletons Club, established on 20th November 1961, is not-for-profit and is run for & by its members. Initially exclusively a
public-speaking club, it has widened its horizons to include many other aspects of inter-personal communication. A number of meetings are
professionally tutored. The Club name derives from the initials S.I.M. (Speech in Management). However for all those who wish to develop their
skill and poise in communicating, both socially and in business, impromptu and prepared, the Club offers practice in an informal and friendly setting.
Newcomers wishing to sample a meeting or two will be welcomed whatever their experience. Everybody has at least one opportunity to speak at a
meeting - often more - but nobody is ever compelled to do so!
